I'm going to love this thread

Btw I went through some old car magazines many years ago and I saw a concept car by Opel in a magazine from 1983 that looked exactly like the 1993 Corsa B.

I hope I can find it again....

That is unfortunately tzhe fate of 99% of prototypes, or they end up in a crash test.

Selling them hardly happens, they are unfinished products, and already for saftey and liabilty reasons no ne would take the risk of sell tehm to customers. Rarely one ends up in a museum.

PS: The Vanquish convertible prototype is interesting, that was never produced, right?

PPS: You should never visit the junk yard behind the Ferrari factory, wheree Ferrari prototypes rot away or are crushed to cubes in dozens or even hundreds.....

I don't think that's an convertible, it's just made square so it doesn't reveal the sexy Aston roofline.

Lokk at the end of teh A-pilar; Imo that is not only camo, that's a badly closed/fitting soft top.

I remeber this. Everyone thought it would be a concept car. It was around the time when the whole Fiat/GM thing broke up, I guess this good looking (rumoured to be Cadiallac CTS based thus RWD and V8 option) sedan was a casualty. Too bad, the 166 would really have desreved such a great replacement. And a proper large Alfa is still ages away.....
