Default 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom

http://www.carscoops.com/2016/06/201...mk2-spied.html

First time spied:

not too many changes, keeps the "straight and huge" appearance of the current car in and outside, with screens replacing the conventional instruments (I'm not sure this is a real upgrade for a Roller, given how classy some well crafted instruments can be, and the Phantom is not exactly a sports car to zip through various screen settings or say google maps - like in an Audi - isn't what i want to see in a Phantom).

It should also remain a V12,I expect the biggest news form a carbon fiber intensive chasis like in the 7 series BMW, so expect it to loose quite some weight...

i think that's just a thick chrome/alloy surrounding of the rear window. Though making the Phantom a huge 5 door hatchback with fold down rear seats sounds a bit sick and cool at the same time ;)

Meet the new Phantom....same as the old Phantom.

I know it has to look like a rolls royce, but come on at least do something new.

Agreed. I'm not the biggest fan of the current Rolls design language, so can't say I'm all that enthused with what we see so far.

I'd love to see them pay homage to the Silver Shadow rather than the droopy butt look of the late 50s.

I'd like to see them do something a bit more delicate (esp w/ the interior). The designs just seem very... teutonic.

You can tell BMW is the owner of Rolls Royce. This is an all-new vehicle designed to looks like a vehicle that is more than a decade old.

Well, to be fair, that could also be used to describe VW's designs.... ;) and
