It looks like all the wonderfulness of the concept has been tossed aside so that the car will look 10 year old.

But have you actually been expecting anything else? That concept was way too daring for BMW (as is the Z4 concept), so logically in a field of other, super conservative German premium designs this is the logical development. I'm certain PR bull**** will describe how every minor detail makes it more aggressive, progressive, etc., but the whole is just okay, far form exciting....

That has very little "BMW" about it. What i see is a lot of shiny plastic and a screen in an angle, that will make it illegible at anything remotely close to daylight....

No, but I was hoping.

I didn't realize Cadillac was in control of BMW. I mean we have great looking concepts that are translated to utter boredom. They have to be run by the same genius, right?

Just in profile (minus the front end), this car honestly looks like an update for the MB S-Class coupe.

BTW, how big is the car? Maybe it's just the angle of the pictures, but the wheelwells look awfully small, and the hoodline rather high (for what I assumed was supposed to be a low-slung car).

i believe it's supposed to be smaller than the current 6 series which is hopefully true. the 6, especially as a convertible, looks awkwardly long.
