I was referring to the 2018 Tiguan (don't know if you were referring to the same). I only sat in it briefly at the auto show, and things certainly can look different under show lights than they do in real life.
FWIW, even some MBs now have sh*tty door pull feels (I've driven several C-Classes, and they all feel like the doors haven't latched fully when you pull to open from the inside).
