Default Unfortunately, I need help finding another car...

As some of yall knew, I was the guy with the white Honda Accord coupe thats been posted on the forum a couple times. Well, about a week ago my transmission died, and it woulda cost more to fix it then it was worth . Im looking for another car (sedan) under $10,000, and was wondering if you guys know of any good, reliable American cars that arent boring or basic (ie. Ford Taurus, Chevy Aveo). I was looking at an 01 Maxima/I30 or 2001+ Grand Prix/ 300M. I was lookin at American cars just b/c they can be found cheap used.

If you guys have any other suggestions or opinions on these cars, I would appreciate them

HAve the thought of buying on Ebay ever crossed your mind? You can find lotsa good stuff there cheap, and as long as you deal with a good dealer or perosn youre good. I dont know how u feel about that.

Just trying to help.

The Accord Coupe will be missed. It's simply the best. We owned a 2001 Honda Accord EX-V6 Sedan until the lease was over. Have you ever looked at another Accord Coupe or maybe the Civic Coupe might fit it.

Im kinda old fashioned when it comes to buyin cars sight unseen, so im not sure about it but ill look into it.

Yea the Accord was a good car, but I didn't know that 98-02 v6 Hondas had bad transmission problems or I wouldn't have gotten it. I really wanted an Acura TL, but I don't wanna go through the tranny stuff again. And the Civic's kinda small for me and I really want leather.

Step 1 get a stickshift. Step 2 consider Hyundai they will be cheap to buy used and have amazing quality and reliability.

But I thought the Porsche Cayman was the best...

If you want your car to be Reliable, and bullitproof, I suggest a 1998-2006 Lincoln Town Car.

You can find em easy for under $10K, they have decent interiors, lots of power, and they look rich and luxurious.

Check one out.

I don't mean to be offensive to seniors but I'm sure AccordAzed who used to drive an Accord Coupe, wouldn't want to look like he's heading to bingo rather than going to a nice party.

I think you have to think more than what's been typed in front of you. I meant it's the best out of the choices that he has. No car in the list can match or meet the Accord Coupe, especially the 1998-2002 generation models.

In terms of what?
BTW, An Accord does not look as near nice as a Town Car in terms of luxury. Its a Lincoln vs. a Honda.
Now maybe, an Acura might be better, but in terms of what he can afford, and what he wants (A Bigger sized American used Sedan) A Lincoln has that "Image" which just says American Prestige.
BTW, He also wanted a Sedan, and not a Coupe.

Wow I really needed to laugh haha. Yea I dont really wanna have one of those big grandma cars since im in college, which means I dont have money to feed a big V8 tank.

I was looking at a 2002 300m Special w/ 76,000 miles. Do any of you guys have 300Ms or have family who have em, b/c im wondering how good of a car it is.
