Even if he gets kicked further out of the boardroom, his presence will loom large over everything they do.

Tesla so desperately needs to reign in out of control spending. Get the basics right.

Much of their spending has been R&D... bringing the Model S, then X, then 3 to market, while introducing 12,000-ish superchargers, building a factory to produce the batteries, designing the Model Y, Tesla Truck, all while introducing a world wide infrastructure takes $$$$.

I think the worst of the spending is behind them. I’d be surprised if they hit profitability paydirt in q3, but expect their eek out a modest profit. Q4 should be strong for them (profit and sales)... there are lots of other areas they need to tighten up - and they’re making inroads there; but the media does love them some negative stories (that’s what creates the clicks I guess).... so tesla lays off a bunch of thei Model 3 ramp up specialists (they’re not needed any
more) or they get rid of unproductive employees, and the media portrays as the sky is falling... in some regards, I do feel sorry for them, as it can be a no win situation... in othe regards, Elon brings on much of his own pain.

The worst of the spending is NOT behind them. The S is getting long in tooth. The X is a disaster. Both need full replacements to stay in the lead. Meanwhile an onslaught of new EVs is coming from elsewhere.

And your assumption is that new designs are not in the works? What’s that based upon? Try a modicum of research before making statements... a new S/X are actively being worked on with a target of 2021... further, the competition is mesnginfully out be 2020... The E-Tron / exPace won’t be available in any meangifngul volumes (according to Jag / Audi) for some time... also, to defuse your next rebutal on the Audii/Jag to Tesla.... comparing with of those cars (which are notably smaller) would be like comparing an Edge to an Escape... also, how is coming out with a brand new SUV, with zero brand recognition (in Model X), to regularly beat Lincoln / Porsche / Land Rover a failure? You expected them to instantly become an RX? Lastly, the competition has yet to adequately address the primary concerns with EV’s... that is access to decent b fast charging... sure, the “penalty box solution” Electrify American from VW is coming... but they’re about 12,000 behind Tesla’s superchargers ... Tesla will be that much further ahead once they get anywhere near them.

What’s hysterical about you is you chide people with silly comments - none of which are based in reality. I’m actually not an employee, but someone who actually digs into and researchs topics.
