Any idea what the things on the back of the front seats are?

Headlight and tailight design are surprisingly weak in the sense that there is little that says "Mercedes" about them.

I also think many crossovers are moving more toward a "station wagon on stilts" look (this included). Good for space efficiency, but the overall shape honestly could be a gigantic Subaru Ascent, IMHO.

While I find the front end of an X7 to be totally offensive, I actually prefer that car's proportions to this.

Interior, of course, is very nice. I'll be interested to see what they do for the Maybach version since this is essentially the same as the GLE, no?

The X7 looks amazing in person. It's funny that it can look awkward in pictures but so right in person.

Like a Toyota Land Cruiser, because the X7 is a blant copy of the Lexus LX.

It's where the rear screens connect on the higher trim levels.
