If you follow Ferd on Facebook, he posted a small Hyundai crossover that is probably the Venue completely without any disguise.

They've had the Venue name out in some markets for a time. But that is Hyundai's current design language.

The size and shape is not the issue. That barbed-wire looking finish on the grille is disgusting. It's terrible detailing. Shiny chrome in that gross pattern.... is it 2003?

Everything else about this car is looking competent and interesting. Their achilles heel is this face their plaguing their cars with.

Depending on the price point, maybe that's all Hyundai can afford for this? ;)

I admit I'll also confused by the choice of texture and finish, but maybe it'll look better in person? Hyundai's most recent designs have been pretty good, so I'd be surprised if this were a stinker?
