It feel like a CHEAP GM product rebadged as a Caddy. That's gonna be a prob, IMHO (in addition to the pricing).

Hopefully, it'll look better in person and hopefully GM offers some insane lease deals.... Otherwise, this car is goner (at least in the US).

It’s been growing on me but that C-pillar still bothers me. Besides that I actually like the looks quite a bit. One highlight for me is how the headlights still retain some of the vertical elements of the Art & Science era. As pretty as the Escala was it looked like it could have come from any number of brands. This at least looks like a Caddy while still avoiding the “old people’s car” look.

Most curious to see the interior though, as that’s the traditional Cadillac weakness. The XT4 is a good improvement so that bodes well for this.

I don’t think this will be a big sales success, but hopefully it will be an improvement over the CTS and ATS
at least. The real volume is in SUVs now anyway. If this starts around $40k and is sized more like the CTS like I expect, it will be a decent value proposition; if it has delusional pricing like the XT6 then it’s DOA.

Although not official, spy shots gave us a good look. It's very reminiscent of the XT4 (although those two knobs right next to each other are an ergonomic disaster and look ridiculous):

Yeah, I remember those pics, which were promising. There’s still enough covered up for things to go wrong though.

You're very optimistic. While Cadillac interiors are by no means awful, I think they leave a lot to be desired compared to... basically everything else is in its class (aside from Infiniti).

Do Cadillacs have crap resale value? I think this would be a decent deal in 2-3 yrs w/ some sort of extended warranty....

Not that Mary Barra's car company over there could ever mass produce a car as good as the above.

She needs a good Eiffel Towering in the back of an LS 400 (consented, of course).

You think that’s ok to just say about someone...over the styling of a car? You’re not funny.
