The headlights have some Audi, but in general. it looks classy and elegant. Could end up as a great car in an unfortunately dying segment....

All i see is another handsome, yes, car with largely generic cues which we've already seen on Opels and other brands. I also see a hint of the last Commodore which isn't a surprise as the Aussie designers probably had plenty of input, as with their concepts of recent US cars etc.

So it seems the weird c-pillar for the estate was fake, and the hatchback looks way less "long rear overhang" than with camo. Whilst the Estate has Kia/Renault wagon cues, the hatchback IMO looks surprisingly good, with a premium stance like an A5 sportback or a 4 series GC.

That looks really good, especially the wagon. The best part is the wagon may be coming to the US, though most likely lifted as an Outback/Allroad competitor.

Looks like a Mazda6 mated with an Optima, especially on the wagon.

The C-pillar/rear quarter window on the sedan is unnecessarily fussy.

PLEASE COME STATESIDE AS THE NEW REGAL.

That's beautiful. Love the proportions and detailing. Definitely some Mazda 6 inspiration, but very cohesive and premium looking.

I normally hate the chrome c-pillar stuff, but it actually works on the wagon.

The jury is still out on the wagon, but the hatch looks pleasant enough and inoffensive.

The wagon is gorgeous. Give it a crossover appearance package and send it here. The sedan is also quite handsome. This as a Regal should kill for sales.

As far as I have read, the Cross version of the wagon is confirmed for the US. The sedan might look slightly different though, as this is a hatchback, and I remember reading the US version won't be (given the dislike for hatchbacks, it makes sense). However, if the current insigna is anything to judge by, sedan and hatch will look 99% identical anyway...

I'll reserve final judgment until I see it in the flesh, but I find the surfacing around the lower rear door panels to be... odd. And I agree that the sedan's rear quarter windows are unnecessarily fussy. The sedan is a bit too much like a huge Cruze, IMHO.

Good overall shapes, though, and a nice update over the anonymous current design.
