Default Cadillac CT5 Coupe Patent Drawings

CadillacCT5 Coupe Patent Drawings Link fixed.

or here
https://www.carscoops.com/2018/07/ca...review-new-ev/

It definitely looks like a Cadillac Camaro. It looks stunning to me. CADILLAC USE PRICE CONTROL SANITY!!! $40K base $60K for the V level base. This has to be a car that looks $100K and sells for half that amount.

I hope they stretched the wheelbase though. They should call it Eldorado instead of CT5 coupe.

I also wish there was a Lincoln Mustang with a longer wheelbase. Call it Sentinel. No need to evoke the disco-vinyl of the Mark coupes.

If this is a portent of styling at Cadillac, the dark days may be over.

A link to C&D, b/c I think you need to have login credentials for the link posted above:

The overhead view isn't that promising, but the other views look very nice. I see some Polestar 1 in the rear, which isn't a bad thing. Very elegant and not particularly derivative. I assume this is going to be (and be priced like) a flagship.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. This has all the hallmarks of a concept car, which I'm sure will be watered down into the final product. If it isn't, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Cadillac has announced that the Escala is headed for production. Granted, if that turns out to be the dismal looking CT5 sedan then we should lose all hope.

Any pics that are not banned in Europe? Can't access Caranddriver from Europe.

Ok found. Looks like a Mustang. In this class of useless yet status cars, there is not enough differentiation. At least the LC looks out of this world, but for many it remains a Lexus and "underpowered". Anything German including the Bentley is stylish-boring and has not soul, at least the badge is enough, but the cars are a complete waste of customer's money. I quite envy they have money to waste. This will only sell in the US, so is of not interest for Europe. And even if it was, it will suffer from perceived "inferiority" by inferiority complexed European customers.

Europe is largely irrelevant given China.

That's what I was wondering after seeing the tiny mirrors.... Audi is moving forward w/ replacing rear-view mirrors w/ cameras, but's not yet legal in the US.

But is China interested in luxury coupes? I thought they were all about the chauffeured experience.

That, the sharp creases, and small head and taillights are a dead giveaway that this isn't a production car in my opinon.

It looks like a done up production car, but doubt this will be in the 4 series price range, probably more expensive. Feels more like a grand tourer, along the lines of the 6 series or maybe even new 8 series.

Anyone know the sales figures of caddy in europe? All I could find is this page

http://carsalesbase.com/european-car...data/cadillac/

and it doesn't look good, more like abysmal

for US market, again not sure if accurate, it has a chance to sell in the states
http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales-data/cadillac/

Maybe even china but the XT5 is not even sold in china, only the larger CT6, the XT5 is the bigger seller though, so a larger suv, not escalde, would be the better bet and not a high end touring coupe.
