Default 2018 Geely SX11

Underneath, it's a smaller cheaper new architecture called BMA, that's similar to the CMA platform that the Volvo XC40 uses. I think it's pretty handsome.

Given the XC40 connection it is likely much better than many Chinese CUVs, that often carry rather dated tech below in their bones, but it does somehow look like every other of those Chinese or even japanese CUVs, not bad, comparably good, but also super anonymous. This could be both a new Quashqai or a new Hyundai Tucson as well, or any Roewe/SIAC/Chery/.....

Given how handsome new Volvos are, I'd would have hope there is more of that "premium, minimlaist" DNA carried over, say a toned down Lynk & Co....

Imagine this as a new Chrysler or Dodge. Geely has what FCA needs and a sale will have to happen sooner or later.

It's astonishing to me that a company like FCA - with brands like Jeep (that have ample soft roaders on the asphalt) can't have come up w/ a replacement for the Journey - or any entrant into this category for Chrysler. It's absolutely baffling to me.

Marchionne was raping the American arm to build up Alfa Romeo and that was a catastrophic failure.
