not like I'm paying attention but
When did they go to not having an instrument-panel (where one belongs)?

That was fashionable in smaller cars in the 90ies/early 2000s, with the Twingo starting it's small digital instruments in the center, and the second gen Lancia being basically the first to follow.

It#s basically out of fashion now for probably 10 years, but Lancia kept it, probably thinking it's a "trademark"...

As a huge fan of Lancia, it pains me to see that this crappy little car is the only thing they sell now, well and a handful of Voyagers! FCA have no idea what to do with the brand, so apparently are quite happy to see it being killed slowly, How did the brand that gave us the original Delta, Fulvia etc end up selling the junk!!! Any other brand would build on the fantastic cars they had but not Lancia!

My wife test drove a Ypsilon, & its a woeful little car, bought a 500 instead!

thought the Delta was still on sale but it seems they removed it

Hopefully FCA will figure something out with Lancia, otherwise it will be killed off, especially now with Alfa coming back to where it should be.

There is no purpose in saving Lancia. With Maserati and Alfa Romeo being for all intents and purposes building a brand from scratch, the last thing FCA needs is to try to revive a brand that everyone thought died decades ago.

Well, it is still, sort of alive; Though given the only market where this is sold is currently completely locked down, I wonder how many will actually be built, if they can't sell any for several months probably. Or FCA pulls the final plug on this (and the Lancia brand)

Lancia actually sells more cars just in Italy with Ypsilon only than Alfa Romeo in whole Europe with wider models lineup.
