I'll say that the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, though more mainstream than some of the more exclusive supercars and sedans, fits well into the category, especially when going into a V12 and AMG level. The next S-Class is reported to be taken to an even higher level, and will have it's more upmarket variants, as well. I'll looking forward to the official photos and press-release.

I see that alot of the news I've been posting has been showing up recently more and more! Recently Bugatti's Chief Engineer revealed the Veyron successor. He points out that they are studying hybrid system and lighter weight construction. This is news I've been reporting on for well over a year now, and its finally made its way to daylight! It was reported here first and Project Aerolithe, a hypercar that will be more fuel efficent and powerful then the Veyron in everyway. All Bugatti's will use the W-16 engine, and a duel clutch transmission and NO Less then 1000 BHP from the start!
My source states to me that the Aerolithe is currently in development using a Lamborghini Aventador Prototype with the W-16 placed in the engine bay. This prototype was seen with the Bugatti wheels and in black camoflag. My source states to me that they will use a new 8 speed duel clutch tranmission from Ricardo and a Haldex 4 rear wheel bias 4 wheel drive system thats lighter then the Veyron's set-up! The overall concept is set to shed about 1000 lbs from the Veyron's overall weight. My soruce says expect a LeMans Bred carbon fiber tub with a carbon fiber( possibly forged carbon or purely a carbon fiber chassis)! My source says that though the shape will be a evolution of the Veyron's it will not wear the Veyron nameplate! Bugatti has done wonders with the name thus far, but this new car is set to the the Veyron concept to new extremes! A concept is currently being constructed as we speak, the rumors say it will show a styling evolution that will blend the Veyron with the 16C Galibier /Royale Production model! My source says that what we cna expect is a car that will topple the Veyron as the orlds fastest while fighting the likes of the SSC Tuatara, Hennessey Venom GT, Koenigsegg Agera R/X. The biggest news from my source is that Wolfgang Durheimer's wish to share some of the Porsche technology has come true, according to my source says that Bugatti are not just studying anyones hybrid tech, but are studying the Porsch 918 Spyder's hybrid system that will see this ccars horsepower rise to as much 1270 BHP, and that comes from using the base Veyron set-up, though this set-up is said to be absed on the duel twin-screw supercharger set-up used in the 16C Galibier/ Royale! Though hardly a light weight, the lose of 1000 lbs will make this hypercar world class while still retaining the luxurious appointments that make it a Bugatti! According to my source Bugatti could be opting to show it sometime early next year sighting that the production16C Galibier/ Royale will be shown sometime late this or early next year with production looking to be right on track for 2014 as of right now. My soruce says that if the fans like the concept the Aerolithe could join its stable mate in 2015 as a 2016 model, which will give Bugatti roughly 2 years without a halo model!
More news to come, stay tuned~!!!!

We have a announcement from McLaren, it looks like on the MP4-12C Spider on July 3rd, 2012.
Look at this video, what is Jenson Button talking about? It kind of leads to MP4-12C Spider at the end the video.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, according to that report, that suddenly cropped up on 6/29/12, the Mercedes-Benz/AMG SLC, mentioned often in this thread, is now put on "indefinite hold". I suppose that matters are being evaluated, rather than scrapped, at least that's what I hope, and it states that it's deemed too expensive, and is "under observation". Here's a link to the report, posted below:
http://www.autoblog.com/2012/06/29/r...definite-hold/
Another bit of news that disappoints, and I hope that I have this wrong, is the recent reports that Jaguar is now offering the new supercharged 3.0L V6 as standard in the large XJ sedan - not that it's a problem, but, there's indication that it's taking place of the naturally/aspirated 5.0L V8. Now, do I have this wrong, for is the 3.0L supercharged V6 being offered in addition to the 5.0L natural V8, or is the natural 5.0L V8 being dropped in the lineup and the supercharged V6 taking it's place? I would hope for the 3.0L supercharged V6 to be in addition to, at least in the USDM. The reports indicated that the supercharged 5.0L V8s will continue. To me, the 3.0L supercharged V6 taking place of the natural 5.0L V8 is a downmarket move. Here's a link to one of the reports, posted below:

The SLC is being delayed, they put it on hold to define the model class it will be marketed under! it is already set to price above the Porsche 911 Turbo, so that target was missed completely, adn they don't want another car priced above the $200,000 USDM price, that would cut into the SLS GT! The engine has been finalized, as well as the aluminum spaceframe chassis set-up. The are currently lookign to carve a niche out for this model which will price above the SL623/65 AMG, yet under the SLS, and thats proving to be alot harder without taking sales form one if not both of these models! Accordign to 1 source the SLC could be pushed back and be the SLS mk2, whcih will make it the successor to the current SLS, instead of a little brother model! Whatever the outcome I feel the company could use this to further help re-define the brands image and help push AMG into a more productive branch of the Daimler AG Empire!!!
Its true the McLaren MP4-12C Spider will be revealed on July 3, 2012, which seems to be right ontime! My source has long thought that McLaren would reveal somethign the same week as the British Grand Prix, which is next weekend! My source thought it would be the MP4-40 hypercar, but accordig to my source every 6 months McLaren will be revealing more news on new models and varients. My source says that before years end McLaren will show the MP4-40 hypercar!
I also wanted to back track and give news on the recent sighting at the Nurburgring of the LFA prototpye! My source from Japan states that its a race bred package thats more focused on light weight construction and aerodynamic set-up that will add more down force while shedding weight! The car carries the same 4.8 liter V-10 thats produces 552 BHP. My source points out that the front hood has more openings that says its a development mule for TMG to test just what type of aftermarket options they can offer to the world for the LFA!!!
More news udates coming soon about developments at Mercedes-AMG and Pagani! Stay tuned~!!!

any news on the bmw Toyota sports car?
http://jalopnik.com/5922305/how-toyo...ag=akio-toyoda
maybe that lfa had a bmw engine in it lol jk.
anyway this is what they said...
There are four pieces to the puzzle, BMW says,
including: joint development of a fuel cell system, joint
development of a "future sports vehicle," collaboration on power
train electrification, and development of lightweight technologies.
