Default 2014 Ford Edge

It's not a great quality chop, but I was too tired to continue any further and had originally only planned to pop the Fusion grill on there to see what it would look like for myself.

I figured Ford will eventually update the Edge, as that have states the trapezoidal grill is the way of the future for the brand.

Here is my Fusion-ized Edge.

Wow. That is killer TdeV! The quality is of your work is just awesome! :)

My only (minor) suggestion would be that something could change with the rear of the beltline - it ends too... quietly. How's that for designer speak? Hahaha.

I was thinking that perhaps starting near the rear of the rear door you could slightly swoop up the beltline along with the windowline (also giving a little bit more of a square shape to the top of the door if you know what I mean). That's just my uneducated opinion, but I hope you can follow that long winded explanation! lol

Nice chop, but I have to wonder whether an Edge is needed. It will be interesting to see if Ford consolidates and lets the Escape and the Explorer do the work. Or conversely, might they build the Edge off the Escape and make it either more butch or more of a coupesedanSUV?

Thanks guys!

@ 4RD4TW - I think so too, I'll have to give it a shot sometime! Thanks!

@ swizzle - I wonder this too sometimes, however the Edge has been a huge hit for Ford so I see some reason to keep it around. I think a coupe sedan SUV like vehicle would fit the Edge for the future, as when it first came out, compared to the competition it was pretty unique.
